TRANSPORTATION

How do I get there?

Booking your flights:
Arrive anytime BEFORE 3PM on JUNE 28 at IXTAPA-ZIHUATANEJO INT'L AIRPORT (ZIH).
Depart anytime AFTER 12pm on JULY 5, 2025 from ZIH.

IMPORTANT: If you do not have a return ticket in you will not be allowed to enter Mexico.

We provide all ground transportation to and from the airport.

MEET UP AT AIRPORT
On June 28, the group will meet in the baggage claim area at 3pm and a complimentary shuttle will pick us up and we’ll head down south to Playa La Saladita (a beautiful 1 hour drive with stop for snacksand bathroom).

How can we get around once on site?
Playa La Saladita is a fairly small secluded, conscious community and everything is within walking / biking distance. Alternatively you can call a tuk tuk for $7-10 taxi ride anywhere in the local area. The beach is an easy 10min walk from the house. The surfbreak is a 20min walk. The local restaurants are 7-10min walk.

How far away is…?
Playa La Saladita is a 1 hour drive south west of the airport. With it's remote location, the village remains fairly undeveloped since being discovered by adventurous surfers in the 70's . There are a handful of small, locally owned hotels, restaurants & bars, and friendly dogs roaming the nearby streets and beach. At sunrise and sunset, you can see (and hear) the adorable howler monkeys and their families. You'll see many wild iguanas and maybe even an armadillo at night. You'll instantly feel the laid-back vibe that has made Saladita a haven for surfers, adventure travelers and dedicated relaxation seekers.

What about cash & essentials?
USD cash are accepted everywhere and most places also accept major credit cards. Mastercard and Visa. NOTE: Amex is NOT accepted at most places in Saladita. Essentials are available from any of the local stores. All linens and towels will be provided. There's also local fruit, vegetable and coconut vendors around town every day. While they only take USD and Pesos, their prices are much cheaper. We highly encourage shopping and supporting locals.

Is there WiFi?
Yes, there is complimentary WiFi available on our property as well as WiFi available at most local cafes and restaurants. Just ask and the locals will be happy to help.
